What’s the parking situation?

Free street parking but depending on the day it can be packed. There is rec center parking a block away and light rail parking about a block the other way :)

Are there any discounts?

10% off if you book multiple services with different practitioners, like headspa and massage. Not with service add ons or if its a package with one practitioner :)

10% off for bringing a friend/partner/family for both parties!
Thirsty Thursday’s we have a 90 min massage, deep detox headspa, or Hydrafacial for $149! Thursday can’t be paired with any other deal though!

How do I book for me and someone else?

You will mostly likely have to email Alex for this! There are almost always two massage therapists scheduled a day, but only one headspa tech scheduled a day, they love picking up shifts to do two at a time so do not hesitate to ask :) just let us know what day and time works best for you!

We only have two headspas :)

The basic headspa comes with all the scalp massages, shoulder massage, and hand massage! It’s like a facial for your scalp and hair. Double cleanse, exfoliation, masks, finishing products and a lot of relaxing and tingles :) no blow dry included though! You can add one on if needed :)

The deep detox comes with all that but more exfoliation, moisturizing foot mask, under eye mask, longer massages, and a 10 min blow dry.

There are amazing add on options, the mini facial is one cleanse, one mask, serum, moisturizer :)

How to prepare before an acne facial

No use of any type of vitamin A/retinol, differin, accutane or any harsh exfoliant.

For acne: I even hate spirolactone because it is a diuretic making you pee out anything before it shows up on your face. Which you might think is good but how are we going to heal the root cause if you aren’t even letting your body speak to you?

Our skin is an excretion organ, so if toxins are showing up on your skin, that means you are not excreting properly.

I have cystic acne and I’m not sure what to book

If you are about a month off any actives like retinol, then I’d book a skin consultation paired with a level one chemical peel! It‘s gentle enough for me to gauge what’s going on with your skin, yet powerful enough to start to see results! If that scares you, you are more than welcome to just book a spa facial in the face treatment section

What types of massage does Skin and Muscles offer?

We offer Relaxing/Swedish, therapeutic, manual lymphatic drainage, cranial sacral, and Ashiatsu massage.

How long is a typical massage session?

Our standard massage session is 60 minutes, but we also offer 75-minute, 90-minute, and 120-minute sessions.

Do I need to undress for a massage?

You may undress to your comfort level, but our therapists are trained to drape you with a sheet or towel to maintain your privacy.
